Daily Devotion

How excited are you about what is happening around you?
… are you excited about what is coming against you?
… are you stirring up others to become involved?
… or …
… are you just under pressure and getting depressed?
… are you doing nothing but praying that the devil will go away?

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.
--- Heb. 10:24

God says …
… “Think of ways to encourage one another to reach out!”
… “Think of ways to be active in God’s kingdom!”
… “Think of ways of being victorious in this life!”
!!!
Jesus said to us …

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven
suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
--- Matt. 11:12

Now is not the time to feel sorry for yourself …
Now is not the time to want to run and hide …
… No! for …
Now is the time to stand up and be counted!
Now is the time to love and do good works!
… but …
What does love and good works have to do …
… with taking the kingdom by force?
???
Everything …
… as Jesus showed us and did Himself …

… For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,
that he might destroy the works of the devil.
--- 1 John 3:8

… and how did He do that? …

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost
and with power: who went about doing good, and healing
all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
--- Acts 10:38

… and that is exactly what we are supposed to be doing …

… I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
--- John 14:12

Are you being provoked to love and do the good works …
… the works Jesus did … destroying the works of the devil …
… taking God’s kingdom … where you are … by force!
