| Living Covenant Partnership!
Knowing how to conduct yourself in a work environment, is important
... as that is where we are ambassadors for Christ!
Even more so is our conduct at home (marriage, family & parenting)
... as that determines our conduct everywhere else!
How should you conduct yourself as a Christian,
... in your HOME environment?
... in your marriage, with your husband or wife?
Every covenant, specifically those that God has instituted,
is based on this one simple principle,
... to value your partner and be a strength where there is need.
In the marriage covenant this was designed to occur naturally!
Men and women are different,
... created by God to compliment each other, (not complicate)
... created by God to complete each other, (not compete)
each endowed with what the other does not have.
So easy, so powerful,
Yet, already in the Garden of Eden man failed to live covenant with his partner,
... and instead of being a strength to each other, they became accusers!
In the words of Adam, echoed by most of us ... that Woman ...
"The woman whom You gave to be with me ...
--- Gen. 3:12
Are you still making
the same mistake and/or accusation?
Do not fall into satan's
trap of self ... leading only to conflict,
... that only brings suspicion, competition and accusations
Don't look at how the other does his/her part,
... instead, concentrate on doing your own part!
Be clever and don't expect your partner to be like you,
... but expect them to be different,
don't blame your partner (or anyone else for that matter),
... but support, strengthen and protect the other (your
Be the strength they aren't, (and that
they are not even meant to be)
... by bringing into the covenant relationship all that is
... all that you are and the strengths that you have!
In fact, this applies to every
It is the kind of covenant Jesus wants to have with us ...
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice
and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne,
as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Jesus wants to be a strength in our lives,
... but, fact is, He cannot,
... until we let Him into our lives and make covenant with Him!
| A Strength to each other!
But how does this covenant, this marriage covenant work,
and what exactly does the Bible say about this covenant relationship?
There is a biblical instruction that tells us how this works,
... however the simplicity of it eludes most scholars.
to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives,
just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for
Why does scripture tell wives
to submit to their husband,
... and tells husbands to love their wives?
Why does it not simply say to both love each other?
Well, actually it does,
... we just have not understood what God meant,
... and what a marriage covenant relationship really is!
because of how God made them,
... have no problem loving their husbands,
but God looks at the heart ... behind
... are you loving because you want to give,
... or because you want to have (something)?
Are you following just because he is the leader?
... or because you want to strengthen him as YOUR
Wives, be that help
meet that confirms your husband as your leader!
That is the kind of love God ordained!
A Man (husband)
was created to be the leader,
... yet not to demand subordination,
... but to take the responsibility for marriage &
... and be a strength to his woman!
Husband, if you live for your wife, she will live for you!
She will be there to strengthen you in your position of leadership,
... in love!
That is the example Jesus gave us,
... because He lives for us, we can live for Him!
Husbands, love your
just as Christ also loved the church and
gave Himself for her,
As the living Father sent Me, and I live
because of the Father,
so he who feeds on Me will live because of
