Covenant Ministries
The ministry is specifically aimed at training and equipping leaders and pastors for effective ministry, for which God gave Jan D van der Merwe the task to prepare practical, simplistic yet powerful Bible Courses thereby giving Pastors a tool with which to teach others (the mission field where they live).
The Church and its leaders, need to practically build a real relationship with God, in covenant with Him, getting to know Jesus personally, so that the reality of salvation and all that Christ has done for mankind, can be shown to the world.

Covenant Disciples Bible Courses & Training
The Covenant Disciple Bible Courses are available to all pastors, pastor groups and church groups everywhere, for personal, group, ministry or bible school studies. Contact us for more details in this regard.
To effectively reach those who want to and will benefit from the courses, we also work with Coordinators in local areas, pastors and leaders who have both a vision and desire to help equip others, by introducing others to the courses, etc.
Procedure...
Pastors & Coordinators who want to benefit from the courses must firstly have the self motivation to complete the courses themselves. Once they have successfully completed the course, the opportunities are there to train their own congregations, to train others, or even to start a Bible Training Center of their own, to train pastors and students depending on the opportunities in their areas.
Whether you are a single pastor, group or a church group, the Covenant Disciples Bible Course materials are available to all on the same basic conditions.

Conditions...
Covenant Ministries provides the Bible Courses and teaching material, help with planning and basic teaching overview. Where possible Pastor Jan likes to become more personally involved in teaching & training seminars and also to encourage others catch the vision. As a Training Center gets going, & where possible, one day teaching seminars are planned. However, we do not provide any equipment, running expenses or offer any other related support.
