The Covenant Disciples Bible Course (CDBC) is aimed at fulfilling the needs of students at every level. From those who are about to or have just taking their first steps with God, to those who want to move on to more advanced studies on Discipleship, Relationship and Covenant, Faith, Anointing, Prophesy, Gifts etc.

If you are thinking that the last thing you need is to do a "self-help course" that leaves you in the deep end with no help or answers to your questions, then read on.
Students who do the interactive course are encouraged to ask questions at any time via fax or e-mail, to create an environment for spiritual growth and development.

The Covenant Disciples Bible Course, CDBC, is open to everyone interested in developing a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, and is primarily aimed at laying a practical foundation in relationship and fellowship with the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

CDBC's first objective is to lay a sound foundation in the Word of God, and not merely getting to know about the Bible, or seeking some deep revelation.

... A foundation based on God's purposes and plans for our lives.
... A foundation on which knowledge can be placed and revelation will be sound.

Without a sound foundation we are like the Christians of Corinth.

"I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able" - 1 Cor 3:2

CDBC provides the vehicle for laying that essential foundation and simultaneously providing the practical application for a wonderful walk with Jesus, in His full revelation.

"For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." - Heb 5:13-14

Choice and Responsibility.

In our everyday life, and in particular in our walk with God, the one thing that separates us from all other created beings, is our ability and our right to make decisions for ourselves.
Together with this ability and right, comes a responsibility ...
... the responsibility to have to make a decision.

"I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live" - Deut. 30:19

What a choice, what a responsibility.

Yet, as awesome as the responsibility is, so wonderful also is that privilege.
We can choose and know that if we go God's way, it is the way of life.

Life is all about decisions, so use that wonderful privilege and make the decision which will remove the awesome-ness of the responsibility.

Foundation Principles.
The 2 Foundation Courses are specifically aimed at laying a sound foundation for a victorious new life in Christ, with special emphasis on relationship and character, His character, in us.

In-depth studies on specific topics and subjects to promote spiritual development and growth.

The Advanced courses follow on the Foundation courses and are aimed at a deeper insight into God’s character and principles, His plans for our future and victory in this life, and His plans to prosper us in every area of our lives.

We are overcomers in Christ. Victory and success is what God has in mind for us.
On a sound foundation, that hope, success and victory can be built.

The advanced courses are all made up of 4 unit in-depth studies and include:-

Both the Foundation and Advanced studies, have short tests consisting of scriptural references, true/false and short description answers … primarily aimed at promoting understanding and not merely checking of knowledge.
All tests, whether correspondence or online are similar ….
But …
Correspondence course tests are corrected, commented on and returned.
Online course tests are electronically corrected, and NOT commented on.

Students doing the online course, who would like to have questions answered etc., have the possibility to do the interactive online course, which provides for questions and answers over e-mail (see Fees below)

Unit should be completed within 1 or 2 weeks, although there is no specific time limitation and students determine their own pace.

All units must be completed before the next course is begun.
