Covenant Disciples Bible Schools ... Kenya

In August I travelled to Kenya, to minister is a number of churches in West Kenya ...
... in towns and villages in the area a little north of Lake Victoria.
I was blessed to meet pastors from about 17 villages, towns and churches...
... to minister to them, and to introduce the Covenant Ministries Bible Courses to them ...

Both of which were enthusiastically received everywhere I went ...
... and at present around 60 pastors all over Kenya are studying the courses ....
... preparing themselves to host the Bible Courses in their own Churches and towns!

I was also priviledged to meet pastors from Tanzania and Uganda ...
... who are also interested in the Covenant Disciples Bible Courses ...
... and I trust to be ministering there in the new year!

But ... before we get too excited about what is to come ...
... meet the people of ...

The Webuye District ... KENYA ...

Kenya is not only known for its beautiful sunrises ...
... and its beautiful nature ...

.....

such as MOUNT KENYA in the clouds . . . . . . . and ofcourse also its great wild life

But... Kenya is also known for its beautiful people ... (boys that have been circumcised)
... and their customs ... (such as drying maize along the roads)

At Eldoret Airport I was met by the welcoming committee ...
Pastor Joseph, Everline, Bishop Isaac and Brother Ilam ...
... from Webuye, my first stop in Kenya ...

I ministered at a 3 day seminar in Webuye and its surrounding areas ...
in villages such as Bumula, Bungoma, Matete and Samoya, amongst others!
Travelling on tar roads, gravel and stony roads ... sandy and even on "no" roads!

With as large a choice of modes of transport ...

Where you can wait for a private vehicle or bicycle taxi to be fixed ...
... or take your chances with 20 other people in a minibus taxi!

... Praise God that the weather there is mostly sunny ...

Even in Africa property is at a premium ...
... so when you want to build a new, larger church ...
... like Pastor Richard of Samoya did ...
... simply build it around the old one (which you keep semi in tact) ...
... whilst completing the new one without stress ...!
So easy...!

ot only are the local Churches and Bible School are constantly growing ...
But pastors of other local churches ...
... in the city and surrounding areas being exposed to the ...
... Covenant Disciples Bible Teaching ...
... and will be implementing the Bible Courses in their churches!
