Then God said,

Not only was the theme of the "CONVIC 2004" conference
HOT ...

So also was the weather in Kinshasa HOT & HUMID ...
... with temperatures around 35ºC+, both inside and outside the ...
where the Convic 2004 conference was being held.

But, just as an occasional heavy thunderstorm broke the sweltering heat, bringing some relief ...
... so also the ministry of both the men and women ...
... broke through some heavy traditions ...
declaring the truth of God's Will ...
... and bringing clarity from God's Word ...



A clear message ...



 


The speakers, and in particular the female speakers ...
...  did not come hoping to receive acceptance as equal partners.
No!
... they came confirming what God had already put in their hearts!
That ...
... both man and woman have a message for the Body of Christ ...
... not the same message, because they are not the same ...
But God speaking through everyone ...
using what makes man and woman different ...
... different abilities ...
... different perspectives ...
to show up both sides, the whole picture ...
... the way God sees it!

 A fitting end ... to a powerful convention ...

A Mighty Harvest...! Something to Praise God for!

Dear Covenant Ministries,
I will greatly like to appreciate your ministry and your teachings to us.
Things in my life, family and church have greatly changed since I came into contact with Covenant Ministries and began to do the bible courses.
As a result I began to teach my church practical things which have transformed us. We began being practical. (one by working).
I told them about turning their hands around, as you taught us, and to use our hands to work and not beg.


The young people and the older men began a project of brick making, as seen in the pictures. This brick making business is now growing and attracting more customers and we now as a church can buy more benches (seats) and even expand without asking for any money from outside, and, our offering has increased.


Our women in the church also began gardening, their homes are healthy now. In the past we used to wait on God to do things even hygienic measures in our homes, we would throw things around any how. But now people are getting practical by cleaning their homes, doing work and then worshipping God.
We don't pray for many cases of disease nowadays. I think not doing anything can cause sickness.

If you do something and it increases or does well then you can praise God for something.
