The plight of innumerable children all over the world, especially that of the street kids, is worsening rather than improving, and Africa is certainly no exception. However, when you consider Africa, and in particular in sub-saharan Africa, one of Africa’s major resources is its vast fertile land. A resource that has the potential of not only feeding its own people, but probably also that of most of the world! Yet, millions of Africans, the largest percentage of which are children, are dying of hunger ... every DAY! |

Covenant Ministries - Covenant Centre is now also providing community services that include ... Extra-mural
classes .......... teaching and training of kidz and the youth
to help them cope and excel in their studies and life.
Teaching trade skills ........ such as knitting, sewing, cooking etc. to girls and young women. Teaching trade skills ........ such as mechanical work, woodwork, farming, etc. to the youth and young men. Councelling and Ministry .. to girls and yound women who have given up hope in life, quit school or are unmarried but have fallen pregnant. Adult education ................ primarily reading & writing classes/training for adults & the elderly (of which 80% in the rural areas are illiterate) General awareness .......... training on health, hygiene, HIV Aids, nutrition and healthy living. … |

We are therefore also reaching out to all those in the local communities, to council, minister to and equip as many of those in the community, including the leaders, families and elderly, as we possible can, through... Covenant Ministries and Covenant Centre is about real life A real covenant, a real relationship! Not just caring for the Kidz, but instilling in them a sense of self worth, and training them to become self sufficient. This of course requires a lot of finance ... to care for and school the kidz, as well as purchasing and maintaining the Centre. Love is about reaching out to those around us! We can do nothing for God, except what we do for those around us! At Covenant Ministries we have no miracle solution or financial overflow, and for us to be able to truly help the children in a practical way. we do need and very much appreciate your financial support... We not only welcome you to partner with us in the Covenant Centre, but we would also like your support to be real, important & personal to you. We have therefore decided to not only seek your support, but also to involve you more personally in the lives of the children through our ... ... ADOPT A "GOD"CHILD ... project. For as little as 45CHF(30$) per month/per child, you can adopt one or more of our beautiful children as your own "GOD" child. It is also possible to either or additionally support Covenant Centre itself, which funds will be used for furnishing, transport and Centre maintenance. |
