Ministries! Although I have had the opportunity to attend a Bible School and even have a diploma in theology, my church and ministry did not seem to be developing or growing. However, about three years ago I came to know about Covenant Ministries and how that so many pastors and their churches had been impacted through the Covenant Disciples Bible Course, and I decided to also study the Covenant Disciples Bible Course together with some other local leaders in my community. Not only has my life changed as a result of the revelation I received through the Bible Courses, but my life has totally changed, my ministry has become strong, the church has mightily grown and I am now able to truly speak into the lives of others. A few months ago I was honoured to receive pastor Jan in person at my church in Kimilili, to personally officiate at our 'first' graduation. We have a saying that if it rains when you receive a visitor that you will be blessed, well that day it rained so much we could hardly hear each other! Praise God! In studying the beginnings of Man, … and the events that lead up to the temptation and fall of Man, Lucifer’s existence and the events in heaven and in Eden, … cannot be taken in isolation. What happened to Lucifer after God cast him out of heaven? Where was he and what was he doing? How did his actions affect Eden and the earth? Is there really a connection between Lucifer, Eden and the Earth? Was Man’s creation not a separate issue? Well, scripture makes a clear connection, .. but too often we read selected Bible verses and thus miss the real story. ... Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." --- Gen. 1:28 Why would God, in His first discussion with man, … tell man there is something on earth that needed to be subdued?
