Covenant
God is a Covenant God, as we see from
God's very first dealings with man in the Garden of Eden in
Genesis chapters 1 - 3, and again in Genesis 15, where God made
covenant with Abram.
The Bible describes a covenant as a special agreement which is
made or cut between two people, families or tribes, and most
importantly between God and man...
On the same day the LORD made a
covenant with Abram, --- Gen 15:18
The Bible goes on to describe a covenant
as a special relationship, in which those making covenant agree
to be "closer than brothers".
... You may have heard the saying "What's mine is
yours and what's yours is mine".
This principle is fundamental to a covenant, and you will be
excited to discover that when God makes a covenant with us, He is
saying the exact same thing to us.
God says ...
Give Me your cares, problems and
needs.
Come to Me with your sickness, poverty and lack.
And I will give you My Righteousness, Blessings, Healing and
Riches...
Does this sound too good to be true?
Well, believe it. It is the truth, it is good, it is the
Good News...
The Great Exchange...
That is the wonderful truth of God’s love and His dealings with man, in a covenant relationship.
